FEMA Offers Federal Assistance to Help Families Cover Funeral Costs

Up to $9,000 in aid may be available for those who suffered the loss of a loved one from COVID-19

Individuals can begin applying for COVID-19 funeral assistance for anyone who incurred COVID-19-related funeral expenses after January 20, 2020. This not only helps those who already incurred expenses, but those who have not yet held a service or purchased other funeral- and cremation-related merchandise such as headstones, urns and cremation niches.

On June 29, 2021, FEMA made it easier to file by offering more documentation flexibility for deaths that occurred before May 16, 2020.

My husband would be delighted that his send-off was so well... Read More

We had communicated via email and telephone when planning the burial. Jesse was organized and never dropped the ball in seeing that the plans were carried out to our... Read More
