Kever Avot Memorial Services
United Jewish Cemeteries at Restland

Kever Avot, the tradition of visiting the graves of our parents and loved ones between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, can evoke a wealth of emotions and memories. In these moments, many of us yearn to feel connected to a community.

We invite you to join with us as we pray together, support one another and honor the memory of those who have passed at our annual Kever Avot Memorial Services. Our free services are open to all members of the community. Whether your loved ones are buried with us or far away, all are welcome.

The United Jewish Cemeteries at Restland are designed to meet the needs of the Jewish community with Mount Zion and Mt. Sinai Gardens; and are home to the Congregational cemeteries of Congregation Anshai Torah, Congregation Beth Torah and Congregation Nishmat Am. The Dallas Orthodox Congregations – Chabad of Dallas, Chabad of Plano, Chabad Kesher Foundation, Congregation Ohev Shalom, Congregation Ohr Hatorah, Congregation Shaare Tefilla, Congregation Toras Chaim, Dallas Area Torah Association, Sephardic Center of Dallas and Young Israel of Dallas — recommend the Mount Zion Gardens to their members as a place where the sacred traditions of the Jewish faith will be preserved and guarded for their loved ones’ final resting place. The United Jewish Cemtery at Restland has evolved into one of the principal burial grounds for the Jewish community and will continue to serve the needs of the entire community for decades to come. Synagogue Membership is not required.
