What is a "Death Café", you ask?
A Death Café is safe place for people to bring their curiosities, concerns, questions and more to a group of people and increase awareness of death, dying and LIFE with a view to helping people make the most of their lives.
This is an open, respectful and confidential space where people can freely express their thoughts and feelings.
…and the best part about it, you get to discuss while eating cake and drinking coffee and iced tea!!!
Attending the Death Café, the main topics of discussion will be:
- Embracing life with the full knowledge that it's limited.
- When you start with the end in mind - living becomes the PRIORITY!!
A Death Café bridges the gap between life and death - LET'S TALK ABOUT IT!
Death Café is NOT a bereavement support group.
It is a discussion group rather than a grief support counseling session.
