Jerry Wayne Fleenor

Birth Date: August 8, 1949
Death Date: January 2, 2019

Born August 8th 1949 and passed away January 2nd 2019 at the age of 69.
He was born to parents Aldon and Jane Turnidge,
and adopted by his maternal grandparents at the age of 5 years old.
Jerry was laid to rest in Restland Memorial Park in Dallas on Monday January 7th in  a private service.
He was a member of the Keene Adventist Church.

Jerry graduated in 1968 from Chisholm Trail Academy, in Keene Tx.  Jerry possessed a dry sense of humor and loved telling jokes. He worked many years at Brandom’s Manufacturing being a very reliable worker.  He lived with his grandparents on Spruce Street until their deaths.  He was able to live alone for most of his life.  He always greeted everybody with a warm smile.

Later years he lived on 4th Street in the Fireside Apartments.
After a physical decline in his health, he moved to Colonial Manor Nursing Home, in Cleburne Tx. He was unable to walk any longer, he still looked for that elusive girlfriend and told his jokes.  He found his mate, Arlene, and they were married.  They lived happily together for a year and half.  Arlene passed away this past June, 2018. Jerry passed from this world in his sleep of respiratory failure.
He will be miss by those who took care of him and loved him.

This picture was taken on his wedding day. It was not easy to get him to wear that shirt and tie.

He might not have been the fastest or strongest classmate or the best joke teller
…yet he was a good guy that stayed strong within his own boundaries.

RIP Jerry Fleenor….you have earned it!
