David Bunch Holland

August 13, 1943 - February 15, 2022

David B. Holland, III passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 after a four year battle with cancer. David, also known as, Bubba, Big David, Uncle David and PeePaw, was born on August 13, 1943 in Dallas, Texas to David B. Holland, Jr. and Margaret Pardue Holland. He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School and North Texas State University and went on to work for 7-Eleven, Inc. (The Southland Corporation) for 38 years. David married June Bloodworth Byars on March 8, 1974 and they raised three children as a blended family, David is preceded in death by his parents, Dave and Margaret Holland, Grandson, Nicolas David Holland and three brothers-in-law, Jim Bob Bloodworth, Thomas (Jeter ) Feagin and James (BB) Dorsey. Proud of his family, he is survived by his wife of almost 48 years, June Holland, his Son, David S. Holland (Amy), his Daughter, Tracey Anne Holland and his Step-Daughter, Donann Johnson (DJ), Granddaughters, Allison Holland and Jordan Janke, Grandsons, Benjamin Holland, Gage Dutton and Dawson Johnson. Great-Granddaughter, Dalilah Holland, Sister Betty Dorsey, and Sisters-In-Law, Lynette Feagin and Shirley Bloodworth, numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends, as well as Jasper, the cat. A Celebration of David’s life will be Monday, February, 28, 2022 at 2:00PM in the Wildwood Chapel, at Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX. 75243 In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society or the SPCA of Texas.
