Eustorgio Longoria Montoya

Eustorgio L. Montoya passed away January 18, 2022, at age 91. He was born in Delmita, Texas April 11, 1930. Eustorgio L. Montoya attended San Isidro High School (Tigers). He received his high school diploma. He enjoys Math and Reading. Eustorgio served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War in 1951. After his service, Eustorgio returned home and turned his attention to his family in San Isidro, Texas. He married Guadalupe T. in November 1960. He was married for 61 years. Eustorgio Montoya had 6 children, 19 grandchildren, and 33 great-grandchildren. As a young man he worked for MISD School District as a bus driver. He continued his education and received certificate work for L.T.V. Air Motives G/P and for Cooper Air Motives at Love Field Airport in Dallas, Texas. He also worked for the City of Carrolton where he retired. Monotya enjoyed music , dancing, bowling, and football ‘Cowboys’. He loved his family. Montoya wore his heart on his sleeves and enjoyed helping others. He was loved by so many and will be missed dearly. Montoya was a member of American Legion. He is preceded in death by his parents, Pedro and Santos Montoya; sisters Bertha Herrera, Emma Requenez; brother Eulogio Montoya; nephews Mando, Eddie, and Hector; nieces Eva and Peggy; 3 brother-in-laws; and Cousin Jesse Longoria. He is survived by wife Guadalupe (Dallas); children Marco A., Mario A., Miguel A. Montoya; daughters Martha A., Marie A., and Melva A. – all from Dallas, Texas; 19 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren; sister Dora Garcia (Iowa); brother Tico Montoya (Mission, TX). Eustorgio Montoya will forever be missed by his lovely daughter Maria Alma who cared for him daily for 15 years and was surrounded by his grand-daughters Bianca, Delicia and Victoria; grandson Ari Gaytan and great-grand children Rocky and Bella Diaz, Milli McCawlii, Carlos, Delilah and Sophia Gonzalez. He enjoyed his life to the fullest with love, laughter, and wisdom until his last days. Daddy, I will love you until we meet again.
