Jenetha Gay Holt

May 22, 1938 - January 14, 2022

Jenetha was born in Casper Wyoming and grew up in Midland, TX. Jenetha was an avid tennis player in her youth winning many tournaments and continued in College. Jenetha graduated from North Texas State College that is now University of North Texas. She graduated with a degree in Education. Jenetha decided to move to Libya with her sister Peggye, Brother-in-Law Tucker, niece Juhree, Jesslynn and Jim Johnson where she worked as a secretary in the Oil business. This gave her a great advantage to travel. She loved to travel and learn about the world. She returned to the states to begin her teaching career. She taught Honors English, Speech and Debate in Midland, TX. Jenetha enjoyed playing Golf, Fishing, Traveling and watching sports. Jenetha loved people and people loved her. She had a way of making everyone feel welcomed. She had a personality like no other - you never knew when she might go to her closet pull out her old tap shoes and tap dance. She was fun. Jenetha was hard working, honorable and a joy to be around. She loved her family and friends. She is and will be missed Rest in Peace At this time, funeral services for Jenetha Gay Holt Will be held April 1, 2022 at 11am. At the Garden of Peace inside of Restland Cemetery. The Family ask for No flowers please, but donations can be made to Hospice or charity of your choice.
