Mẹ, bà và bà cố của chúng tôi, Bà Quả Phụ Trần Doãn Xâm, Pháp Danh Diệu Tôn (thông thường được mọi người biết đến là “Cụ Loan”) đã thanh thản về với Phật hôm Thứ Năm, Ngày 21 tháng 4, 2022 (nhằm ngày 21 tháng 3, năm Nhâm Dần), hưởng Đại Thọ 104 tuổi. Cụ Loan sinh năm 1919 ở Hải Phòng Việt Nam. Cụ ra đi để lại 8 người con cùng dâu rể, 4 cháu nội, 11 cháu ngoại, 2 chắt nội và 5 chắt ngoại. Cụ Loan ra đi với nhiều thương tiếc, không chỉ riêng với con cháu, mà còn với cả nhiều thế hệ đã có cơ duyên gặp cụ tại Chùa Pháp Quang, hay quý đồng hương đã biết đến Cụ trong vùng Dallas-Fort Worth, từ đầu thập niên 80. Our loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Mrs. Loan Tran, peacefully left us on April 21, 2022 at the age of nearly 104, per Vietnamese culture. Mrs. Loan was born to Mr. Đoàn Văn Tứ and Mrs. Phạm Thị Thân on June 14, 1919, in Hai Phong, Vietnam. Beloved wife of late husband Trần Doãn Xâm, and loving mother of 9 children. She is cherished by 15 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Loan leaves her loved ones with unforgettable memories and loving stories. She will be sincerely missed by her loving family, devoted friends, the Buddhist Temple community, especially with Pháp Quang Temple in Grand Prairie, and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved her.
