Thomas Homer Heslep, Sr, youngest of four children born to Ambers Alvin and Rosa Monceaux Heslep in Orange, Texas on December 31, 1925. He passed away on March 3, 2022 at home in Dallas, Texas. His parents, sisters Gladys Heslep and Jessies Taylor (Olan), brother Ambers Heslep, Jr. (Irene), step-brothers Pete and Hugh Heslep, precede him in death. Survived by wife Mildred Albritton Heslep (Millie), their son, Thomas Homer Heslep, Jr. (Kelly) of Highland Village, Texas, granddaughters Alexandria Joy Terrell (Kyle), Emma Claire Barker (Cash), and great-grandchildren Olive Kelly and Jones Thomas Terrell and other extended family members. Thomas and Millie were married on October 1, 1955 and were so fortunate to have had those 66 years together. Tom served his country during War World II in the European theater (59th Armored Division) and was a Purple Heart recipient. He worked in the plumbing design field most of his business career. Inactive member of St. James Episcopal Church, in Dallas. Tom cherished his family and was a considerate and generous husband, father and granddad, a man of faith who believed in the power of prayer and will be missed beyond measure who loved him. At Tom’s request Graveside service will be held at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at 11:00 a.m.
