Wanda F Williamson
October 19, 1933 - March 22, 2022
Wanda F. Williamson, 88 of Dallas, TX passed away 3-22-2022. She was born in Cooper, TX to Ernest A. Askew and Flora V. Askew (Larkin)on October 19, 1933. She was originally named Willow Faye but legally changed her name to Wanda. She loved jigsaw puzzles, Sudoku, and sitting on the tailgate of a truck at Keller's Hamburgers having a cold one with her friends. She also enjoyed her Saturday night domino games with her ladies at Juliette Fowler where she lived for several years. She was opinionated, honest to a fault and stubborn as a mule. She drove an 18-wheeler coast to coast and loved the traveling and the hundreds of friends she made under the CB handle "J D Lady" named for her partner in crime - Jack Daniels! She is preceded in death by her mother, sister and 2 brothers. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and nieces and nephews also precede her. She is survived by her 2 daughters - Beckie and Andie - 4 grandchildren - Cassie, Rachel, Ryan and Alisa - 8 great grandchildren and 2 great great granddaughters. We will always remember her for her spirit and spunk as most of us inherited at least a little of it - along with the willfulness and obstinance. We will always cherish the memories we made - even a few we would like to forget. We love and miss you Mom, Granny, J D Lady and Granny Big Truck.
