Mrs. Willie Marie Fisher Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Willie Marie was born in Hughes Springs, TX. Her mother Maime Lee Jones moved to Dallas with her as a young child where she attended B.F. Darrell Elementary School. As a teenager, Willie Marie attended and graduated from Booker T. Washington High School and participated in several social clubs. Willie Marie gave birth to 4 children. She raised her children in the South Dallas area and was an active member of the Bexar Street Baptist Church. Willie Marie married Leon Fisher, and became a mother figure to his daughter Joyce Ann. She worked in the Nursing field as a CNA and LVN, as she enjoyed helping others. She was very active and absolutely loved to fish! Her free time was spent fishing, reading her bible, and enjoying time with her children and grandchildren. Willie Marie especially enjoyed teaching her children and grandchildren how to fish and loved sharing snacks with them between meals. Willie Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Fisher, 2 children | Michael Vaughn and Joyce Ann Brisby, and 2 grandchildren | Dametress Vaughn and Cedric Moore She leaves to cherish her memories, her children Linda Hamilton, Myra Vaughn, and Wanda Vaughn, and 21 grandchildren | Rayland Moore, Marcus Moore, Alton Ray Moore, Shaheed Hamilton, Shukriyyah Hamilton, Shareefah Vaughn, D’Juana Harris, Corey Vaughn, Kalisa Vaughn, Grasun Vaughn, Hanif Vaughn, Aneesah Williams, Pamela Fisher, Yolanda McCray, Mary Fisher, Leon Toliver, Glen Toliver, James Toliver, Darlene Hubert, L.J. Toliver, and Olivia Cruse | 27 Great-Grandchildren and 10 Great-Great Grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
