Dorothy Ann Gebauer's Obituary
Our beloved mother and friend left this world for a better place on March 28, 2008. Dorothy Ann Gebauer passed away after a life filled with love and laughter. Dorothy was married to Homer D. Gebauer for 52 years. She was an adoring mother to son Gary and wife Carol and son John and wife Sonja. Dorothy was a devoted friend to many, especially the Alston and Harvey Families whom she adopted as her own. Dorothy had a love for art and education, she was also an accomplished artist. She was a volunteer at the Plano Senior Center, a past president of the Plano, Art Association and a member of multiple bridge and book clubs. Dorothy had a great enthusiasm for life, she was a kind, generous, and caring individual. She touched many lives and will be truly missed by many. A celebration of Dorothy’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at St. Mark’s the Evangelist’s Catholic church, Plano, TX. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to a scholarship fund to support young artists at Legacy Bank and Trust of Plano, Texas at Alma and 15th St.
