Wesley F. Wright Jr.'s Obituary
WRIGHT, JR., WESLEY F. was born in Dallas, TX on March 19, 1922, the eldest son of Wesley F. and Ethylleen D. Wright. Frank passed away peacefully with his children at his side January 5, 2013, after a brief illness. He graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School, attended Southern Metho-dist University and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas. During WWII, he was an Ensign aboard the USS Fletcher in the Pacific Theater. An avid reader, a plaque in the Marble Falls, Texas Library commemorates his accom-plishment of reading every book in the library during his retirement in the Texas Hill Country. Frank is preceded in death by parents, Wesley and Ethylleen; sister, Ethylleen “Cissy” W. Coffman; and son, Wesley F. Wright, III. Survivors include daughters, Noel W. Harbin, Isabel C. Wright, and Helena C. Wright; daughter-in-law, Lorraine B. Wright; granddaugh-ters, Kate Brunson and Laura Bertram; sister, Cora W. McClure, and brother, George B. Wright. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, January 10, 2013 at Church of the Holy Cross, 4052 Herschel Ave. in Dallas. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Church of the Holy Cross where he was a founding member and much loved his life there.
