Luther taught me how to play Solitaire. It's a simple thing, but I can't tell you how therapeutic it is to zone-out in a largely futile game of Solitaire. It is like meditation for me. And I owe it all to him. Incidentally, I have met a number of other people who have had the same experience with Solitaire. It is a simple game, but just enough to keep your mind occupied so that you can relax. Every time I play I think of him.
Summer 1999 – my mom had just passed away and a friend of mine from Seattle flew down to help me pack up her house. We spent an afternoon at Ron and Mary's home swimming in their pool w/Luther, Katie, Tom and Kathy. Luther was having fun laughing, splashing everyone in the pool and floating around in an inner tube. I just remember the devilish grin on his face and how he was enjoying the day!!
There is not enough room to share all of the memories we have of you. We are going to miss you brother. Love Riley and Joan
