I am so saddened by the news that Steve Passed away. He was a long – time friend from the mid 60’s through the 70’s. Then we became friends again during the years of the BBQ Jams. He was a kind, gentle soul with so many talents. I saw him play his bass guitar often. Steve was a great musician. John and I really looked forward to the yearly BBQ Jams. I have some great memories. I was so impressed by the beautiful bedroom furniture that Steve made for himself and Donna. My heart goes out to you Donna, and all of Steve’s Children and Grandchildren. May God grant you peace during this time of sorrow.
Stephanie (and all), we were so sorry to hear of your dad’s passing. As I see FaceBook posts and other tributes, it is obvious he was (and is!) very well loved – adored, even. He seems to have had a friendly personality and surrounded himself with some pretty great people! I know how much you will miss him – and I think the community he created will as well.
