I am so sorry for your loss. Roy was an amazing person with an infectious smile and such an amazing heart. We dated between 2015-2017 in NYC and then lost touch. For a long time he was my best friend and we share the same birthday. I always hoped we could have another chance. He is the most special person I ever met in my entire life. I have so many wonderful memories going to the Hamptons and having his amazing chicken soup and helping him dog sit and countless others. I love you Roy, until we meet again. My deepest condolences.

I worked with Roy on a few large projects over the last year and a half. He was an amazingly talented and intelligent young man who became a good friend to me. We had a lot of talks over a lot of food. One time we ordered so many dumplings the kitchen staff kept coming out to see if we could finish. We did. Roy’s smile would light a room up, his youthful exuberance was infectious. I, like so many, will truly miss his friendship.

I’m so sorry for your loss. Jeff was someone I grew up with, and I’ll always remember the person he was. I was fortunate to be able spend a lot of time at school and playing basketball with him, and he had a sense of humor that could make anyone laugh. Jeff, you will be missed by all of us.

I am so sorry for your loss. I remember eating tea eggs with Jeff on the way to Chinese school. Later when we changed locations, my mom said he would always bike himself to our Sunday classes, when the rest of us would only go by force. In high school, my friend asked him to cook her lunch for weeks…and one day he showed up with fried rice in a bowl, complete with chopsticks. During our college graduation, he pulled the Dean into a huge hug on his way off the stage. All this to say…at his core, Jeff was an unfailingly sweet person, and I am going to miss him so much. Rest easy, Jeff. I hope to see you again some day.

Roy was a fun guy with a great laugh and a flair for cooking amazing meals, he had such a wonderful sense of humor that really made the people around him enjoy life a little more. I know he will always be remembered as a bright spot in the memories of everyone who were lucky enough to meet him.
