Dear Hickman family
I was very sad to learn of the death of your dear father. I have so many happy memories of he and your mom when I was much younger. The camping trips, the laughs, the road trip to Port Arthur; these come to mind quickly. One of my most vivid child memories (this would have been when I was 5 or 6) was every time your dad called our house and I answered, he’d say “I can tell you are not wearing any shoes.” This AMAZED me! How did he know? He was a fun loving man, so full of life and love. I know you will miss he and your mother. Peace and comfort to you all.
