SARKIES, ABLA ABBOUD Born on December 17, 1914 in Haifa, Palestine and passed away on February 14, 2007 in Jacksonville, Florida. She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Issa and Nidal Dalal, Adel and Nadia Dalal; daughter and son-in-law, Lily and Magdi Sibai; grandchildren, Walid,Lulwa, Zeina, Hala, and Rana; and great-grandchild Rose. We cannot forget our mother. She is our bridge. When we needed to get across, she steadied herself long enough for us to run across safely.
