Albert Lea Bartley Jr.'s Obituary
Albert Lea Bartley, Jr., loving husband, father, and grandfather, was born on July 19, 1927 in Ladonia, TX and passed away on October 18, 2008. Albert is survived by his wife of 49 years, Ann; sons Thomas Bartley and Christopher Bartley; daughter, Pamela Holder and her husband Jerry; grandchildren Shane Bartley and his wife Sharon, Deanna Bartley, and Clayton, Alexandra and Sydney Holder. Albert earned his J. D. from the University of Texas, and shortly thereafter was elected district and county attorney of Fannin County, TX. Subsequently, he began a long career as corporate counsel for Continental Emsco Co., and eventually achieved the position of Vice President and General Counsel of LTV Corp. before retiring in 1992. Albert was a member of the State Bar of Texas and a Master Mason of the Grand Lodge of Texas, each for over 50 years, and a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association. A memorial service will be held at Restland Wildwood Chapel on Saturday November 1 at 12:30 pm.
