Several years ago, while riding my bike on a paved trail between Summit and Valley Parkway, I saw an older gentleman walking. He had a hat on, and walked slow. I saw him again the next day. This was usually in the early morning. I thought that I recognized him from somewhere, and then realized that he was a man that had just joined Temple Baptist in Flower Mound. I stopped and talked with him and then saw he and his wife at church the following Sunday. He was a fine man that loved the Lord. He was also in my Sunday School class and taught a couple of times, when Charles was gone. He always encouraged the class to give tracts to all we saw. He and Martha helped out in our Nursing Home Ministry for several years, taking one Sunday a month. They were faithful until, he just couldn’t physically do it any longer. I will miss him, but know we’ll meet again someday in Heaven.
