Alice Ortiz, 95, of Farmers Branch, Texas died October 5, 2017, in Farmers Branch, Texas of natural causes. She was born July 29, 1922, to Nicarnor Ortiz and Margarita Eureste in San Marcos, Texas. She was a member of the Covenant Church. She is survived by daughters, Linda Galvan of Farmers Branch, TX, Maryo Ortiz of San Antonio, TX, Victoria O. Cavazos of Austin, TX, Olivia Ramirez of Austin, TX, Josie Raya of Houston, TX and Beatrice C. Williams of The Colony, TX; sons, Paul Rook Martinez of Carrollton, TX. Alex Rodriguez of Austin, TX and Joe Garcia of Farmers Branch, TX; 26 grandchildren, 60 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren. Grandma loved the Lord and always enjoyed praising him. She loved all her family and friends. Her house was always open to anyone in need. She will be watching over all of us. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 8, 2017, from 12:00 to 2:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held on Sunday, October 8, 2017, at 3:00 pm in The Wildwood Chapel at Restland Memorial Park.
