Alice "Peggy" Hairston's Obituary
Alice “Peggy” Hairston passed away peacefully on September 8, 2014 in Coppell, Texas. Peggy was born in New York City on November 15, 1923. She enjoyed two successful careers; one as controller for thirty-eight years for the law firm of Becker, Ross & Stone in New York City and after retirement her real passion as realtor in her beloved Sarasota. Peggy was preceded in death by her sister, Blythe and her husband, Bob. She is survived by her son, Barre; daughter- in-law, Karen; grandchildren, Barre II and Jade; great grandchildren, Brittany, Elijah and Aaliyah; sister, Hope; nephews, Michael and Richard; stepdaughters, Susan and Linda and stepson, Anwar. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mayo Clinic Graves Disease & Thyroid Research.
