Alice Ortis, 95, of Farmers Br4anch, Texas died October 5, 2017 in Farmers Branch, Texas of natural causes. She was born July 29, 1922 , to Nicarnor Ortiz and Margarita Fureste in San Marcos, Texas. She was a member of the Covenant Church. She is survived by daughters, Linda Gavan of Farmers Branch, TX, Maryo Ortis of San Antonio, TX, Victoria O. Cavazos of Austin, TX, Olivia Ramirez of Austin, TX, Josie Raya of Houston, TX and Beatrice C. Williams of The Colony, Texas; sons, Paul Rook Martinez of Carrollton, Texas. Alex Rodriguez of Austin, Texas and Joe Garcia of Farmers Branch, Texas; 26 grandchildren, 60 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren. Gwandma loved the Lord and always enjoyed praising him. She loved all her family and friends. Her house was always open to anyone in need. She will be watching over all of us. \
