Alice Roberts' Obituary
ROBERTS, ALICE TUPY, age 87, died April 5, 2009. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 9 at 10:00am at Restland, 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, Texas. Burial will be in Restland Cemetery. Alice Roberts was born February 26, 1922 in Crisp, Texas, near Ennis. Her husband, Carl Thomas Roberts, preceded her in death in 1990. Alice’s parents were Wesley Tupy and Aloise Tupy, and stepmother Bessie Tupy. Survived by Sisters Anne Zvolanek, Libbie Wisniewski, and Agnes Dujka. Deceased sister Mildred (husband William Baker), brother Wesley Tupy (wives Vallie and Frances Tupy) and sister Georgia Tupy. Alice and Tom had 4 children, Tommy Roberts and wife Pam, John Roberts and wife Ginger, Sam Roberts and wife Diane, and Harriet Roberts. She has 9 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Alice and Tom traveled extensively throughout the United States and overseas. She was a lifelong member of Hampton Place Baptist Church, a member of the Ennis Sewing Circle, and the Dallas Circle of Czech Women. She will be dearly missed by all.
