Alice Marie Youngker's Obituary
Alice Garcia Youngker, age 87, passed away on Friday August 5, 2022. Born in Key West, Florida on May 17, 1935, she was the oldest of two daughters born to Wenceslao and Marina Garcia. Alice grew up in Key West, Florida, graduating from Key West High School in 1953. During her senior year of high school she met the man she would spend the rest of her life with, a young naval sailor from Oklahoma, Jesse Dale Youngker. They married in December 1954. In a world where it can be very difficult for marriages to survive, Jesse and Alice kept their shared vow, “till death do us part”.
Alice was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-seven years Jesse Dale Youngker. In addition to raising their four children together, Alice also played an active role in the day to day management of Master Air Conditioning, a business established by her husband. During Jesse’s final years she fulfilled her promise to care for him in their home until he passed away. Alice is survived by her three daughters Debra Whitten, Susan Arnold, and Terrie Cook, and her son Robert Youngker. She was the grandmother to twelve grandchildren. She was also blessed with thirty-two great grandchildren.
Alice was generous with her time, talents and resources. She thoroughly enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren. During her final days her spirit was lifted every time some of them came to visit her.
Alice and her husband, Jesse will be buried together at Olivet Cemetery in Oklahoma.
