Amelia Hernandez Benavidez's Obituary
On December 21st of 2022, Amelia Benavidez peacefully received the Lord's hand. Born on May 5, 1926 in Dallas, to Jesus and Maria Hernandez. She is preceded by her husband, Cruz G. Benavidez Jr., and survived by immediate family her daughter Diana Rivera, son-in-law, Miguel Rivera Sr., grandson Miki Rivera, wife Valerie and great grand-children Sophie and Cruz Rivera. She is also survived by her sisters Anita Morales, Eva Hernandez and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday Dec. 30, in the Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Pastor Chris Schoolcraft officiating. Entombment will follow at Chapel Memorial Gardens Mausoleum at Restland Memorial Park.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday Dec 29 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Guest are invited to share memories of Mrs. Benavidez from 6:00 – 7:00 PM during the visitation time.
