Anna Duval's Obituary
Anna Smith DuVal, age 84, of Forney, Texas passed away Saturday, September 5, 2020. She was born to Riley and Dora Smith on October 10, 1935 in Nevada, Texas. Anna graduated from Community High School in 1954. She worked for Mercantile National Bank for 43 years before going to work for the Bock Company for 4 years. Anna married Armond DuVal, on May 5, 1961. She and Armond lived in Dallas, Texas until they retired. After retirement they built a home in Forney, Texas and spent their time traveling, especially enjoying their trips to Colorado. Anna was a member of the First Baptist Church in Forney and loved to go to go to the Senior Center to play cards with all of her friends. She is preceded in death by Riley and Dora (parents), Armond DuVal (spouse), James Smith (brother), Billy Smith (brother), Jay Smith (brother), and Fay Smith (sister). Survived by Gean Smith (brother) and Charles Smith, (brother) and several nieces and nephews. Officiating - Pastor Jerry Griffin of First Baptist Church — Forney. Pall-Bearers - Phil Seay, Roland Tyler, Erik Wenzel, Matt McMahan, George Valdez, and Wesley Carter. Funeral services will be held at Restland 13005 Greenville Avenue, Texas 75243.
