Annette Petree's Obituary
Annette Petree, 82, passed away October 15, 2020 in Richardson, TX. she was born April 18, 1938 to parents Romano Rebosura and Gavina Rebosura in the Philippines.
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 21, 2020 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held Thursday, October 22, 2020 at 10:00 AM at The Memorial Chapel inside Restland Funeral Home.
Annette graduated with a Nursing Degree from De Ocampo Memorial School with Summa Cum Laude honors and began her career as Registered Nurse (RN) at St. Luke’s Hospital in the Philippines.
She migrated to the United States in 1976 as part of the nursing recruiting initiative program and started working at Eastland Hospital, in Eastland TX from 1976 – 1983. She then worked for Parkland Hospital from 1983 – 1985. Served at Providence Hospital (Waco, TX) from 1985 – 1988. She moved back to the Dallas area where she worked for Parkland Hospital and Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital from 1988 until her retirement in 2014.
Annette’s loving and caring nature was felt by many throughout the years. Being the oldest sibling of seven, her innate maternal instincts ensured that her family always came first and always provided the needed support as they all graduated from college. Being a mother, the attention to her children was evident every step of their growth. Being a loving wife was also a priority she took seriously. Her fun-loving nature and infectious laugh will be missed terribly.
She is survived by her husband Oscar, her sons Ruperto and Jake. Her grandchildren Aidan, Cameron, and Mary. Her sisters Estella, Dolorosa, Cora and her brother Tito. Her stepchildren Oscar, Jr., Juan Paolo, Philip, Jimoy, and Vanessa. Her step granddaughter Cara Rayven.
