Anthony Thomas Pinka's Obituary
Tony was 95 years old when he joined hands with the Lord and his wife of 68 years, Barbara, in their heavenly home. He had fought a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s/Dementia. Tony is survived by his daughter Linda and his son Gary and his wife Cathy.Tony was born in Dallas, Texas in 1923, to Anton Pinka and Agnes Wasserbauer Pinka. After graduation from North Dallas High School he joined the Army where he served in World War II in England. He met his wife there and married. Upon returning to the States, he became a Dallas Fire Fighter for 41 years. After he retired in 1987 the family moved to Plano where he spent many hours in his yard feeding squirrels and birds and any other animals that might come his way. He enjoyed visiting with his neighbors and helping whenever he could.There will be no services.
