Ashley Kristen Allen's Obituary
Ashley Allen of Parker, TX passed away Sunday, October 2, 2011. She was born Ashley Kristen Herrick on May 24, 1967 in Dallas, TX. Ashley graduated from W.T. White High School in Dallas in 1985 and from Texas Tech University in May 1991. Ashley and Mickey enjoyed 14 cherished years of marriage together. Ashley was kind, generous and a loyal friend to many throughout her life. Ashley was an avid Texas Rangers and long-time Dallas Cowboys fan and loved to spend time with her dogs Boris and Natasha. Ashley is survived by husband Michael D. Allen (Mickey), sisters Leslie Herrick of Dallas, TX and Laura Kimball of Lewisville, TX, brother-in-law Glenn Kimball, nieces and nephew Charlotte Kimball, Alexandra Kimball, Benjamin Kimball, Taylor Fahnestock, and Abbie Lankford. She was preceded in death by her father Crawford Miller Herrick, Jr. (Red) and mother Jane Marie Herrick. A memorial service will be held at Christ United Methodist Church, 3101 Coit Rd., Plano, TX 75075, on Saturday, October 8 at 2:00 p.m. with a gathering at the Allen’s home immediately following. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Ashley’s favorite charities: Visiting Nurse Association, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, and North Texas Food Bank.
