Bernard Harry "Hank" Silver, Jr.'s Obituary
Bernard Harry “Hank” Silver, Jr. was born July 18, 1935, to parents B. Harry (Ethel) Silver, DDS in Lancaster, PA. He passed away quietly on May 12, 2019. Moving to Dallas to swim for SMU, he married Annette Lambert in 1956. He served in the US Army in Korea. Post Korea, they raised two children. He was a lifelong SCUBA diver and NAUI instructor, an award-winning photographer, and after retiring from the wholesale apparel industry in 2001, became a published author.Hank is survived by his beloved wife Annette, his daughter Denise (Mark) Schnitzer, son David (Pamela) Silver, brother Fredric (Sandra) Silver, sister-in-law Hanna Lambert, grandson Benjamin (Melanie) Silver, granddaughters Emily & Tara Schnitzer and nieces & nephews.The graveside service is at The Temple Emanu-El Cemetery, 3430 Howell Street, Dallas, TX on May 15 @ 11 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Jewish War Veterans Post 256.—
