Bernice Martha Streidl's Obituary
Born December 12, 1915 in Cleveland, OH and went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 24, 2008 in Plano, TX. Bernice was an active member at Lovers Lane UMC for over 50 years. She was active in her community which included Order of the Eastern Star, Garden Club, PTA, Sigma Kappa Mother’s Club, Antique Club and Garden Club. She was a homemaker and loved to cook, bowl and play cards. Bernice was a very faithful friend and maintained correspondence throughout her lifetime by sending birthday cards and special notes. She taught her family honesty and to care for others. She was loved for her ready smile and thoughtfulness. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry George Streidl. She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Nordquist, Barbara (Bonnie) Singleton; grandchildren, Richard Singleton, John Singleton, Bill Brune and Tom Brune and 8 great-grandchildren. Service will be 12:30 PM, Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at Restland Wildwood Chapel with Dr. Don Benton officiating.
