CARTER, BESSIE LOUISE Born December 9, 1926 in Smithfield, Texas, passed away March 9, 2011 in Highland Village, Texas. Preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Johnj E. Carter. Bessie is survived by daughters, Andrea Carter Thompson, and Sandy Carter McCoy and husband Spence; grandchildren, Shannon Kay Thompson, Gary McCoy, and Dennis McCoy; brother, James Hammock; sister, Patsy Branc; and numerous nieces and nephews.Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Friday, March 11, 2011 at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be held at 9:30 AM, Saturday, March 12, 2011 at Restland Memorial Chapel.
