Betsy Leigh Parker (Loader-Jones)'s Obituary
Betsy Leigh Parker 77, born Betsy Loader on March 14, 1945, and passed away January 4, 2023. She was proceeded in death by her parents Weyman Edwin and Ada Pauline (Polly) Loader.
She is survived by her brother Mike and wife Donna Loader of Sanford FL, her daughters, Julie and husband Thomas Callaway of Tyler TX, Amy Jones of Allen TX, Kristy Robinson of Crowley TX, and son Michael and partner Lisa Jones of Lockport NY. Her grandchildren Clint and wife Shelby Kalinec of Arlington TX, Brandy and husband Alfonso Luna of Jacksonville FL, Brittany Grice of Crowley TX, Kristy Jones of NY and Michael Jones NY. Her God-daughter Elizabeth and husband Scott Marks, God-grandkids- Savana Marks and Jae Lee.
Betsy was born in Seattle Washington and moved to Texas as fast as she could. She and her brother Mike Loader grew up in Collin County on a farm in Love Joy and were members of Forest Grove Church both now in Lucas Texas. She graduated from Plano high school in 1963 and simply loved staying connected with her classmates for over 50+ years. She so looked forward to the annual reunions and all the very special life-long friendships.
There was no one she loved and treasured more than her brother, friend and confidant Mike Loader, the bond is an ever-lasting tribute to their love and support of one another.
Betsy had four loving children whom she shared many beautiful and loving relationships with. Her support and love throughout their lives and their many diverse endeavors revealed her special relationship with each child.
Betsy, known as BB, was known to her grandkids was a loving, encouraging and simply a silly-fun grandmother who loved spending time with them in her flower gardens, cooking together, playing games, but most of all just visiting and spending time together.
Betsy spent the last many years in retirement communities in East Tx, Plano Tx and Arlington Tx, where she created even more beautiful friendships. As she was called home to be with the Lord, she was at peace, knowing the many memories we all shared will keep our hearts full and grateful during this time of loss.
The family will honor and celebrate her life Friday January 13th at 9:30am Wildwood Chapel at Restland Dallas 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas Texas 75243.
