Betty Jean Aubert's Obituary
Aubert, Betty Jean was born on November 30, 1933 in Colfax, Texas and passed away on April 5, 2014 in Dallas, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Frank Aubert. Betty was kind and loving soul. She never met a stranger. Betty reflected her love of all things in her paintings. Her son is quoted saying “that some of her paintings would jump off the canvas and come alive”. She loved nature and all things that came with it; there was not an animal on earth that she did not care for. Betty was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Mesquite. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be missed by all those whose lives she touch. She is survived by her son, Scott Aubert and wife, Deborah; daughter, Cheryl Martin and husband, Don; grandchildren, Shane Martin, Kristi Edney; Heather Turnbaugh, Ryan Aubert, and Terri Martin; and great grandchildren, Covey, Maison, Jasmine and Aiden Martin, Hudson Edney and Natalie and Victoria Turnbough. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be at 9:30 AM on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at Restland Abbey Chapel. Interment to follow at Grove Hill Memorial Park.
