Betty Barrett, age 95, passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, in Garland, Texas. She was born to Cyril Smajstrla and Johnnie Schultz on Tuesday, February 5, 1929. Betty was a loving mother to Clyde Kinnibrugh (Debbie), Charles Kinnibrugh, Cyril Kinnibrugh, Connie Kinnibrugh, Neil Barrett, and Rebecca Barrett. She was cherished by her grandchildren Tasha Lewis, Tiffany Kinnibrugh, Cecil Kinnibrugh, James
Kinnibrugh, Richard Kinnibrugh, Christine Kinnibrugh-Parsley, Heather Barrett, and Sarah Perkinson, as well as her great-grandchildren Leslie Weakley, Max Yakovenko, Nikolas Yakovenko, Dezarae Kinnibrugh, Gabriel
Kinnibrugh, Bruce Kinnibrugh, Jessie Allen, James Perkinson, Ulby Mueller, and Hailey McComiskey. Her legacy also extends to her great-great-grandchildren Leia Skinner.
Betty was an avid gardener and had a deep love for cooking. Her cats were her babies. She leaves behind loved ones with unforgettable memories and heartwarming stories. She will be sincerely missed by her
loving family, friends, and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be held at Restland Funeral home from 5- 7:30 pm on Monday, July 29, 2024, Funeral services for Betty Barrett will be held at the Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at 2 PM.
