Betty Lou Moser's Obituary
Our dear mother, Betty Lou Hiett Moser, sadly but peacefully passed away on Tuesday October 24, 2023, at the age of 95. She was born in the St. Louis area but was raised in Belleville, Illinois. She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her. She also had adoring, extended family members, many friends and former neighbors who thought the world of her. Mom was loved by everyone who came in contact with her, from her caregivers to her nurses and doctors. She was predeceased by her kind and loving husband Evan L. Moser (Emo) who she met in high school, and they lived most of their lives in Dallas. They were married 50 years before his death in 1999. She was active in the Lake Highlands area community and played in the Neighborhood Bridge Club, attended monthly Book Club and was a dedicated member of St Paul’s Church for decades.
She is survived by her sister (Marilyn Hiett Moore), her loving children (Candace Moser Hagan, Michael Moser, and Julie Martin), 3 grandsons (Dustin Hagan, Travis Hagan, and Mitchell Moser), a great granddaughter (Lucy Hagan), 2 sons-in-law (Michael Hagan and Pat Martin), and a grand-daughter-in-law (Phoebe Moore Hagan). She also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews and friends. Visitation will be at Restland on Friday, October 27 from 6 to 8 pm. A memorial service will be planned at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to St. Paul Evangelical & Reformed Church in Dallas.
