Mrs. Betty Louise Post Cantu's Obituary
CANTU, BETTY LOUISE POST, passed away at her home on Monday, June 25, 2007 after a long and courageous battle with Breast Cancer. She was born on November 5, 1946 in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin to the late Bernard E Rupp and Louise Hendrickson Rupp Pipken of Janesville, Wisconsin. Betty was a 1965 graduate of Janesville High School and spent most of her early years in Wisconsin. She was employed by Avaya Technologies for many years. Betty was an enthusiastic cook, gardener, and decorator and she loved to travel. Betty is survived by her loving husband, Frank Cantu whom she married January 1, 1998. Also surviving is a son, Alan and his wife, Lisa Chaki of Silver Spring, Md and grandchildren Joshua and Alison Post. Step-daughter, Lisa Saldivar and her husband, Richard and step-grandchildren, Kristina, Ricardo, and Isabel Saldivar also survive. Betty leaves sisters, Barbara Truman of Michigan, Bonnie Dixon of Wisconsin, Beth Elder of Wisconsin and Penny Hession of Florida and a sister-in-law, Kay Bogatin of Houston, as well as many nieces and nephews to cherish her memory. Visitation will be Thursday, June 28 from 10-12 at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at Restland from 1-3 pm on Thursday, June 28th.
