Beverly and I taught together at the Bell County Rehab Center in Temple in the 70’s. I am so grateful to have called her my friend. Our first born daughter Rachael was born on her birthday and they became friends as well. Despite family losses and sadness in her life, Beverly was optimistic and had a sense of humor. I didn’t keep up with her much when she moved to Dallas but those fond memories will always be with me.
