Billy Frank Glenn's Obituary
Billy Frank Glenn, 88, of Coppell, Texas passed away on Monday, October 14, 2019, in Coppell, Texas. He was born on Thursday, July 9, 1931, to his loving and thoughtful parents, John Waldren Glenn and Viola Mae Dickerson in LaRue, Texas. He married Silvia McPherson on January 25, 1952 and they were happily married for 56 years until her death. He was a warehouse manager for over 50 years for Allied Bolts and Screws. Billy served in the Army from 1950 to 1951 as a Corporal. He was a modest hero, served his country and sustained multiple injuries that affected his life. He was a devoted family man and loving husband. He was blessed with nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, He balanced his career with his family life. We will miss his kind heart and sarcastic humor that put smiles on our faces.Billy is survived by daughter; Linda Madsen of Coppell, Texas, son; Bill Glenn (Suzanne Glenn), daughter-in-law; Jenny Glenn of Irving, Texas, sisters; JoAnne Harris (George Harris) of Winnsboro, Texas, and Vonda Dickey (Robert Dickey) of Weatherford, Texas, nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Silvia McPherson Glenn and his son Stephen Glenn.Funeral services for Billy will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 10:00 a.m at Restland Wildwood Chapel located at 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, Texas 75243.Funeral arrangements for Billy have been faithfully entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, which is located at 13005 Greenville Ave., at the intersection of Restland Road, Dallas, Texas 75243, and can be reached at (972) 238-7111.
