Billy Joe McCracken's Obituary
Billy Joe McCracken, born November 20, 1932, in Waxahachie, Texas to Marcus and Mildred McCracken. He passed away on August 28, 2023, in Mesquite, Texas. He was retired from Betz Laboratories with 36 years of service. Billy loved Fishing, traveling and bowling and was very proud of bowling a 300 game. He was also a member of the North Texas Allegro Motorhome Club for 23 years. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Marie McCracken, to whom he was married for 37 years. He is survived by one child, his daughter, Heather McCracken, four stepchildren, Barbara DeSham and husband Andy. William Reynolds, Robert Reynolds, Bradley Dees and wife Chris; twelve grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren; one nephew and two nieces. He is preceded in death by his parents, son Michael McCracken, two daughters Patricia York and Katherine Medlock. Two brothers, Bobby Barrow and Kenneth Barrow.
