Bob L. Elliott's Obituary
ELLIOTT, BOB L. Born August 11, 1925 in Durant, OK and passed away November 22, 2009 in Nevada, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents, Olen Kenneth Edward Elliott and Hettie Fern Warmack. Bob is survived by his wife of 49 years, Myra Mae Elliott; sister, Charlotte Hubard Leed (Dick Leed); children: Deborah Lee Olsen and Laura Ann Garon; grandchildren: Darcy Lee Olsen and Lennon Garon. Bob graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in Council Bluffs, IA. In 1948 he received his BA from University of Omaha. He also served as a bugler in the US Marine Corps during WWII. Bob was an avid outdoorsman who thrived on fishing and hunting. Bob made friends wherever he went. Always willing to help, he had a great sense of humor, terrific smile and winning personality. He had a full rich life, lived with a deep generosity of spirit. It was had not to like Bob; harder, still not to love him. A graveside service will be held at 12:00PM, Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at Restland Memorial Park in the Court of Rembrance. Visitation will be an hour prior to the service at Restland Funeral Home.
