Bobbette Hedick's Obituary
Hedick, Bobbette King was born November 26, 1932 in Stamford, Texas and passed away May 20, 2012 in Dallas, Texas. She lived her life serving others as a middle school teacher with Mesquite Independent School District and in her church with 3-4 year olds. Bobbette received a B.A and M.A in education from East Texas State University. She was also a graduate of Bible Study Fellowship and served in E.S.L. programs. She was devoted to her family and church. She is preceded in death by her parents Fay Evelyn Curd and Robert Frank Willingham and sister Shari Willingham Egan. Bobbette is survived by husband, George A. Hedick, Jr.; daughter Kathryn Ann Poynor and husband Alan; son Russell B. King III and wife Linda; daughter Dottie Cruz; sister, Martha Skinner and husband Carr Skinner III; brother-in-law Joe Mike Egan, Jr.; 5 grandchildren Gretchen, Duke, Chip, Gabriel, and Grace; 6 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 6:30-8:30pm Friday at Restland Funeral Home. Celebration of life will be held at 3:00pm Saturday, May 26, 2012 at East Dallas Christian Church, 629 North Peak Street, Dallas, TX 75246.
