Bokrae Yi's Obituary
Bok Rae Yi (이복례), beloved mother, grandmother, and cherished member of her family, passed away peacefully on February 9, 2026, at the age of 88. She was born on June 6, 1937, in South Korea and lived a life filled with love and devotion to her family.
Growing up in South Korea, she witnessed many changes throughout her lifetime and met each chapter with strength and grace. She carried with her deep christian values, a strong work ethic, and a caring heart that touched everyone she met.
She was known for her kindness, wisdom, and unwavering dedication to her loved ones and God. She found joy in caring for her family, preparing warm meals, sharing stories, reading scripture and offering quiet encouragement. Her quiet but strong presence brought comfort, laughter, and a sense of home to all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Her love was constant and unconditional, and her legacy lives on through the many lives she nurtured.
She is survived by her children and her beloved grandchildren, who will forever treasure her memory.
The visitation will be held at Restland Funeral home on Monday February 16th 5:00-7:00PM
The memorial service will be held at Restland Funeral home on Tuesday February 17th 2:00-3:00PM.
The family welcomes all who knew and loved her to join in honoring her life.
Though she is no longer with us, Bok Rae Yi (이복례) now rests in the loving arms of our Lord, and her faith, strength, and love will continue to guide and comfort us until we are reunited again.
