Mr. Bret Lance Followill's Obituary
FOLLOWILL, BRET LANCE, born December 16, 1963. Passed away January 26, 2007. Lifelong Dallas area resident. 1982 graduate of Bishop Dunne High School. Leading salesman and store manager of Harry’s Hot Rod Shop and Super Shops of America. Bret had a great love of music and muscle cars, but most of all his family. Blessed with a great sense of humor, caring and compassion for others. Bret will always be remembered for his positive attitude and courage in the midst of adversity. Preceded in death by his grandparents, Clarence L. and Eleanor S. Byrd. Survivors include his mom, Linda B. Followill, brother Bart J. Followill (Lisa), sister, Mandi Shea Ramirez (Patrick) and his great uncle and aunt, Frank and June Shappard. The family would like to extend appreciation to Bret’s medical team; Drs.David Ostrow, Maria Juarez, Gregg Shalan, Cole Giller and the staff of Methodist Medical Center of Dallas. Bret recently resided at Grace Presbyterian Village in Dallas where he was cared for, loved and treated with great compassion and dignity. Service will be held on January 29, 2007 at 3:30 p.m. at Restland Wildwood Chapel.
