Cadwell Lewis Ray, 84, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 1, 2020, in Dallas, Texas. He was born on January 18, 1936, to his loving and thoughtful parents, Charles Ray and Vera Evans Ray in Dallas, Texas. Cadwell Lewis Ray will be sincerely missed by his loving family, his devoted friends and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved him.
He married Agnes G. McCulloch on August, 1958 in Dallas, TX. He was a Professor of Economics for 40 years.
He is survived by daughters Margaret Ray, Spotsylvania, VA, Monica Gruntkowski, Tulsa, OK, son James Al Ray, Tulsa, OK, sisters Harriette Cummings, Las Vegas, NV, Ellen Lawrence, Pittsburg, TX, Patricia Pickard, Allen, TX, Marion Wagner, Huntsville, Alabama, brothers Carl Ray, Dallas, TX, Bob Ray, Mineola, TX, six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by spouse Agnes G. Ray, sisters Dorothy Stephens, Billie Lou Probst, brothers John Ray, Thomas Ray and Paul Henry Ray.
