Funeral services for Carmen Velez, 97, of Addison, Texas, will take place at 10:00AM on Monday, September 19, 2022, in the Wildwood Chapel at Restland Memorial Park. Interment will follow the funeral in the Restland Memorial Park. Family will receive friends on Saturday, September 17, 2022, from 1-4PM and Sunday, September 18, 2022, from 12 Noon-6:00PM at the Restland Funeral Home.
Carmen was born on February 25, 1925, in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico to Eulojia Gutierrez and Felipe Velez. She passed away on September 9, 2022, in Addison.
Carmen was a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing and reading.
Carmen is preceded in death by one son, one daughter, four brothers and four sisters.
She is lovingly survived by: her sons Jorge Pantoja, Daniel Pantoja and Pedro Gonzalez; her daughters Carmen Tirado, Aida Gonzalez, Virginia Crespo, Lillian Leguen, Ailsa Cherco and Eileen Romero; ten brothers, six sisters, thirty-six grandchildren, fifty-one great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren and three great-great-great-grandchildren.
