Carol Marie Dippo's Obituary
TURNER-DIPPO, CAROL MARIE, age 45, of Dallas, lost her courageous two-year battle with breast cancer. She died peacefully at home on Friday, April 20, 2007. Carol was born on November 2, 1961 in Richmond, Indiana, to Edward and Rose Turner. She graduated from high school and attended Ivy Tech College in Richmond. She moved to Dallas in 1986, where she pursued a career in the medical field. Along the way, she helped many patients of the medical practice where she worked. Carol met Bill Dippo, the love of her life, in February 1988, and they became inseparable. They enjoyed the love of family and friends, traveled to many exotic destinations and shared hobbies. They also shared a love for Carol’s two cats, Betty and Wilson, and for her loveable dog Cisco. In addition to her parents, Carol is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Danny and Mandy Turner; brother and sister-in-law, David and Diane Turner; sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and Norman Schultz; and brother and sister-in-law Jerry and Cathy Turner. She also leaves behind a multitude of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and loving friends whose lives she touched in many ways. Special thanks to all doctors, nurses and staff who cared for Carol during her illness. Family suggests memorial gifts be made to the Simmons Cancer Center at UT-Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas and to the SPCA of Dallas. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM, Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be held 12:30 PM, Wednesday, April 25, 2007 at Restland Wildwood Chapel.
