Carol Jean Donnelly's Obituary
DONNELLY, CAROL 75, of Garland, Texas passed away peacefully on July 25, 2013 in. Born January 23, 1938 in San Antonio, Texas, she was the daughter of the late Christian Evers and Ella Grote Evers. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Ralph; daughter, Karen Pirrung and husband, Mark of Mesquite, TX; three grandchildren, Erin Shapiro and husband, Jacob, Kelly Pirrung, and Todd Pirrung, and brother, Kenneth Evers and wife, Virginia of San Antonio. Carol was preceded in death by her son, Ralph Donnelly III and sister, Bernice Alderson Wurzbach. She loved cooking for her family and friends, sewing, Texas Ranger baseball, and making quilts. Carol enjoyed a good game of golf and travel until a few years before her death. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 30, from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Restland Wildwood Chapel. Celebration of her life will be held at 12:30 PM on Tuesday in the Wildwood Chapel. Carol would appreciate donations to First United Methodist Church Richardson, Texas or the American Cancer Society.
