Carol Elaine Lasiter Gothard, age 80, went to be with her Lord on July 22, 2024. Elaine was born in Seminole, OK to Thomas Fred Ellison and Edna (Byrd) Ellison on January 19, 1944.
Elaine is survived by her Stepchildren, Michael J Gothard and wife Susan and Cheryl R. (Gothard) Rogers and husband Jerry,
She is also survived by her Brother-in-law Bobby Gothard and wife Beverly, and Sister-in-law Wanda Fox and husband Rick.
Her grandchildren; Angel Lasiter, Skyler Lasiter, Nicole (Burks) Robertson and husband Brent, Nicholas Burks, Brady Gothard and wife Kristen, Trenton Gothard, Aryn (Bounds) Earnhart and husband Clint,
Her Great-Grandchildren: Oliver Massey, Desmond Cruz, Carson Robertson, Maverick Robertson, Matthew Bounds and Evan Earnhart.
She also had cousins, Linda Milton and husband Michael and Jim Beymer and wife Barbara in Oklahoma.
Elaine was preceded in death by her first husband, Lynn P Lasiter and her 2nd husband, John N Gothard, her parents, and her son Darren D. Lasiter.
She retired from a career at Bank of America when she married John Gothard. Earlier in her life, she enjoyed traveling and boating. She enjoyed the home they had on Callender Lake in Hickory Hills. She also enjoyed putting together jigsaw puzzles. Elaine was a Faithful Christian of the Baptist Faith. She was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church in Wylie. It was important to her to be in Church every time she could.
